Events

Parenting Today’s Teens hosts a number of live events throughout the year.  Some of those events are teaching times where parents have the opportunity to learn how to become more effective with their teens, and other events are fund raising opportunities to rally financial support for the ministry’s radio programs and operations.

The Turbulence Ahead Seminars are weekend event held throughout the year at various cities throughout North America.  Typically sponsored by communities or churches, these seminars are 7 hours long and help people understand the nature of today’s teen culture, why teens respond the way the do to those in authority, why some parenting styles are no longer effective, and proposes a new model of parenting that meets the needs of the family, and empowers parents to move toward their child relationally.

The Heartlight Foundation Dinners are designed to bring those people interested in supporting the work of the Heartlight Foundation that sponsors the Parenting Today’s Teens radio programs and all its outreaches to families across the country.

An Evening with Mark Gregston

These weeknight events are hosted by various community groups, churches, small groups or youth ministries, desiring to spend three hours hearing wisdom and insight about parenting teensfrom a person who has spent his life working with teens.  This brief-intensive parenting seminar targets communities where the longer weekend presentation isn’t possible.

Families in Crisis Conferences are held 6 times a year on the Heartlight Campus located in East Texas.  These three-events are designed to help families learn new ways of engaging with their kids and determine new strategies for managing their home and encouraging positive behavior.
