Heartlight Ministries is a boarding school designed to counsel teenagers struggling with behavioral
problems or rebellion...a therapeutic program for teens often referred to as "troubled teens".

Heartlight's therapeutic program for troubled teenagers can provide your teen with the help and mentoring he or she needs, as well as defined boundaries and a continued education. It will give time for the whole family to heal. Heartlight also provides the parents and family with seminars and weekend retreats, so it becomes a family effort to achieve success, not just the burden of your teen. And the Heartlight boarding school counseling staff help parents learn what to expect from their struggling teen as they move through the program, which sets minds and hearts at ease. Everyone can then look past heated emotions to focus on healing.

Students come to the Heartlight boarding school in Texas for counseling and boarding school education mostly from California, Oregon and Washington on the West Coast and Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Nevada in the Southwest, from Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, Louisiana, and Mississippi, Texas, Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois in the Central States, and from Florida, North Carlolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey along the East Coast. Students are teenagers age 13-18, both boys and girls.
