    PODCAST SCRIPT:

Horses are quite intelligent, but they need fences to keep them from danger. And so do your teenagers.

A horse on a tether has little room to roam, but put them in a pasture with fences and they can move about freely, while still remaining safe.

Teenagers also need to be released from their parents’ tether and allowed to roam, but in a safe way. Like fences, rules and boundaries will keep your teenager from danger.

So sit down and lay out your boundary lines, presenting them to your teen as a gift of freedom, not a limitation, preparing them for the day when the gate will be opened wide and they will be out on their own.
