    PODCAST SCRIPT:

A disrespectful attitude by a teenager may seem like a small thing, but it can bring great damage to your relationship and to your child’s future.

As any parent of a teen knows, disrespect can be displayed by the roll of the eyes, barbed comments, sarcasm, the turn of the back, pouting, or raging. But i don’t have to tell you to be watching for disrespect in your teenager. You innately feel the sting of it when it happens.

The longer a parent waits to address and correct disrespect in their teenager, the more entrenched and damaging the problem will become, especially if the child gained some ground or got their way when they exhibited disrespect in the past.
