    PODCAST SCRIPT:

Some parents just don’t have the good sense to let some things go, never realizing that sometimes a fight won, really isn’t won at all.

Parents can pick a fight over some issue and win, and be the biggest losers in the eyes of their teenager. So I recommend that if an issue has nothing to do with a teenager’s future, their character or their virtue, it’s probably not a battle worth fighting.

Historically, clashes between cultures over fashions, fads and music have ended up building unnecessary rifts between teenagers and their parents.

Are there hot issues in your home that don’t really need to be fought over? If so, step back and pick your battles wisely.
