  • Balloon Race Of Life (1-7-2011)

    PODCAST SCRIPT:

Here in East Texas is one of the longest running annual hot air balloon races in the country. It always reminds me of teenagers lifting off in the race of life.

The colorful hot air balloons are like teenagers standing tall, each with equal potential to win the race.   Parents give final instructions and steady the guide lines as their child readies to launch.  Then, they let go and the balloon rises into the sky.  All the parents can do then is to follow at a distance, praying that their child will pilot away from dangers.

Are you teaching your child to safely navigate the wind currents of life?  You’ll be glad you did on that day when you, too, have to let go of the ropes.
