    PODCAST SCRIPT:

Most counselors would agree, based on the stories they’ve heard from many of their clients, that it’s not a good idea for parents to allow younger teenagers to participate in sleepovers.

It’s simply not possible to know what will take place in other people’s houses.  But what we do know is that a lot of experimenting can and usually does go on when younger teens get together for a sleepover.  Today, kids have access to just about anything, and it tends to come out after the parents go to bed.

From puberty until your teen has become more mature and discerning, think of creative ways for them to spend time with their friends, but only when adult supervision is awake and watchful.
