  • Obedience To The Wrong Crowd (1-4-2011)

    PODCAST SCRIPT:

Some parents pride themselves in how obedient their children are, but it makes me wonder who will be telling their kids what to do when they are out on their own?

You’ve seen kids go away to college and proceed to make all the wrong moral choices. It’s usually because every decision had previously been made for them. Now, without their parents, they simply don’t know how to weigh out a decision, so they follow a new leader in their life, their peers.

Keep in mind that obedience isn’t as important as learning how to make wise decisions. So, begin early giving your teenagers more decisions over their own life. Allow them to be their own person, not just obedient to you, and they’ll less likely be directed by others later in life.
