    PODCAST SCRIPT:

You’re not expecting too much of your teen to be a good citizen, truthful, respectful, cooperative and productive.

Some parents think they may be expecting too much of their children, so they back off. They reason that there is plenty of time for them to grow up and mature. But maturity must be sparked in the early teen years and nurtured right up until the child leaves home.

Wise parents are more concerned about character and less worried about how much their children love and adore them right now.  They know that kids who are given reasonable boundaries, responsibilities and expectations are more likely to respect, love and adore their parents, maybe not right now, but for the rest of their lives.
