Parents of teenagers struggling through this culture often wonder what they can do to keep their child from bad influences, especially when their teen is away from home.

Sometimes a parent can only lean on God to protect their child from outside influences. They cannot hover over their child every moment of the day, nor is that a healthy thing to do. What they can do is to set boundaries and ask God daily to bring positive influences to bear in their child’s life.

A wise parent will give the structure that every teen needs, but when it comes to influences outside of their control, they know to leave that in the hands of a higher power.
