How Can I Help Heartlight?
Every day, we receive inquiries from people who have been touched by our ministry in some way and want to spread the news of Heartlight Ministries to others.
If you want to help spread the news about Heartlight’s Residential Program, Heartlight Radio, and Heartlight Resources, there are many ways to do it! Of course, we always welcome charitable contributions, donations of stocks and bonds, or estate planning that includes Heartlight, but there are other nontraditional ways to help our ministry as well.
Host a Spirit of Heartlight Dinner In Your Area
The Spirit of Heartlight fundraising dinners are hosted by friends like you all around the country. The dinners are a great way to introduce new people to our ministry and raise funds for the benefit of all our programs. By hosting a Spirit of Heartlight Dinner in your area, you give Heartlight some of the most valuable and effective gifts you can give: your time, your energy and your influence. And, you help expand the outreach of all Heartlight ministries. To initiate plans for a Spirit of Heartlight Dinner, please contact Amanda Childress at 903.668.2173, ext. 15.
Share Heartlight Resources With Others
Our resources offer a wealth of information to parents. By sharing them with others, you spread the message of hope. Give Heartlight resources as gifts. Place copies of our literature in your local church or school libraries. Give them to your physician or counselor as reference material. Share them with a discouraged parent. Ask your local bookstore to order Mark’s Gregston’s book, and call your local Christian radio station and ask to have Mark interviewed or Heartlight Radio added to their line-up.

Invite Mark for a Retreat Weekend
You can help bring a Dealing With Today’s Teens seminar to your local church or Christian school, or invite Mark Gregston to speak at your weekend retreat. Having Mark speak to your large group about the everchanging world of today’s teens could be very helpful to the families who are dealing with it. Availability is limited, but contact Amanda Childress for more information.
Tell Someone In Leadership About Us
When you have the opportunity, take a moment and tell your pastor, teacher, counselor, school principle, court officer, attorney, or youth pastor about Heartlight. People in positions of leadership deal with families in trouble on a regular basis, and need to know that a place like Heartlight exists.
