The Heartlight Ministries Board is pleased to announce the formation of the Heartlight Ministries Foundation. The goal of the Foundation is to be the fund raising arm of Heartlight to ensure the long-term financial stability of the organization. The priorities of the Heartlight Foundation include the elimination of all Heartlight’s debt, raising funds for targeted projects related to the residential program, and the development of funding for numerous projects and re s o u rces outside the scope of the current residential program.

Through the years, Heartlight’s focus has been to help struggling teens, especially those in need of the residential program. And as we have worked with those teens and families, we have developed a significant number of resources from which other struggling teens and families could benefit… especially those who might never need to place their child outside of the home. But we must be able to develop and distribute this material. As a result, we have formed the Heartlight Ministries Foundation to focus on the tens of thousands of teens and families that can benefit from what has been learned. The further development of resources, as well as creating income streams derived from these resources, will greatly benefit the ongoing ministry of the Heartlight residential program.

Thousands of new families in need will learn of the option of the Heartlight residential program which will allow us to remain at capacity. In addition, the residential program will benefit from the sale of material and the proceeds from Mark’s speaking engagements. Mark and Jan Gregston will serve on the board of the Heartlight Foundation, as well as two of the current board couples; Jim and Lynn Samis of Fort Worth, Texas, and David and Brenda Herrmann, of Danville, California.
