Thirty years ago, a pastor of the church I worked for asked me, “Mark, do you see every person in this room?” I knew there was a lesson coming. He then said something that has been with me every since. He said, “Each person here feels like they’re carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders.” You might not think that too profound.
