There’s a profound job description for parents that was written centuries ago, but it’s still as relevant today as the day it was written!
The Apostle Paul didn’t specifically write Romans 12 for moms and dads of teenagers, but it applies, all the same! In verse 12, Paul writes: Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
As parents of teens, we need to remember those things. I mean, how often do we need hope during the exhausting adolescent years? And what parent of a teen hasn’t been through “tribulation”? May God give us patience!
Finally, you and I should be constant in prayer. There’s no better tool for parents, than going to God on our knees!
Remember our job description: Romans 12:12! Look it up.
